AMD is ready to put some rivals in its pocket during the year 2020, after having had a brutal impact on the processor market with the launch of the Ryzen 3000. A launch that pushed Intel against the wall, despite the blue giant continuing to make lucky money.
That said, the company's focus is now on returning to competitiveness in the graphics card market, trying to finally offer some competition in the high ranges, a market segment that has been completely dominated by NVIDIA for the past (almost) 10 years.
AMD will try to replicate what it did with Ryzen in the graphics card market!
Therefore, AMD is looking to create big waves of 'hype' with its new graphics cards 'Big Navi', products that should reveal the full potential of the second generation of the Navi architecture, already based on RDNA 2.
After all, we are talking about a graphics card whose main mission is to put the supreme juice of the RTX 2080 Ti market in your pocket! At the same time it also brings the famous Ray Tracing to the table! A feature that until now only exists in the NVIDIA RTX range.
Having said all that, AMD has now revealed new details about its new GPU, with product management leader (Mithun Chandrasekhar) speaking quite enthusiastically about what is about to arrive during the Radeon RX 5600 XT conference. Now read:
“With the Radeon 5000 series, we are essentially reaching 90% of consumers. That is why we have not yet bet on 4K! After all, the vast majority of PC players prefer Full HD or QHD. However, this does not mean that we do not have a 4K card on the way, as it is almost upon us, being very similar to Ryzen processors. The market needs a strong Radeon, so we are going after 4K, not just to get there, but to completely change the market. ”
