AOC announces an innovative monitor dedicated to gamers looking for high-performance equipment, especially competitive players and sports enthusiasts. The 27 ”(68.6 cm) AOC AGON AG273QZ is incredibly fast, with a refresh rate of 240Hz and an extremely low response time of 0.5ms (MPRT).

Its super-sharp 2560 × 1440 pixel QHD resolution is at another level, compared to current 240 Hz Full HD models. Hardcore gamers do not need to decide between speed and image quality. The AG273QZ is equipped with a state-of-the-art TN panel, producing a wide spectrum of pop colors (126.4% RGBs, 93.7% AdobeRGB). The monitor can achieve a maximum brightness of 400 nits and is certified with the VESA DisplayHDR 400, decoding and displaying HDR (High Dynamic Range) images.

In addition, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology minimizes latency caused by extensive HDR tone mapping, while its variable refresh rate support eliminates cuts and stops.

AGON – AOC's brand of spatialized gaming monitors – was an ancient Greek term for conflict, struggle or rivalry. The brand new AGON AG273QZ lives up to its name, having been developed for unforgiving competitions with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms – resulting in a noticeable reduction in the transition time between pixels of just half a millisecond.

As a result, the AG273QZ does not compromise, but on the contrary offers the best image quality and color details, in addition to being extremely fast.

The AG273QZ uses a TN panel in the future-proof QHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels) and supports the VESA DisplayHDR400 certificate. HDR-compatible games and movies can be presented in ultra-realistic lighting conditions, dramatically increasing immersion. The AG273QZ panel displays an incredibly wide color gamut (126.4% RGBs, 93.7% AdobeRGB) closer to reality than ever before. Speaking of colors, AOC's Light FX is a customizable RGB LED ring on the back of the monitor for players to show their true colors.

AOC knows what gamers demand thanks also to the close relationship with the G2 Esports team, which it sponsors. One of the details introduced in this model is a convenient carrying handle on top of the monitor, so that players can easily carry them in tournaments and LAN’s. In addition, players can place the headphones on one side to keep their game setup tidy.
