Big Navi ‘NVIDIA Killer’ – Everything is waiting for AMD’s high-end Navi graphics card! And apparently, we won't have to wait much longer to see it reach the market. After all, the latest rumors suggest March 5 as their official release date.
AMD will announce its Big Navi ‘NVIDIA Killer’ in March!
Therefore, the latest information suggests a launch on March 5, 2020, on Financial Analyst Day. After all, this would be the perfect time for the company to announce its return to the highest range of the graphics card market. Something that has long ceased to be a priority for the company, leaving NVIDIA to swim alone in a giant aquarium. (Where of course it is, we the consumers are the little fish)
Will the Big Navi ‘NVIDIA Killer’ be announced on March 5th?
As you might imagine, Financial Analyst Day is anything but a gaming technology or graphics card event. However, it is also true that AMD has done stranger things in its history.
Still, I would take this as a simple rumor, due to the simple fact that it is a strange event.
What is the Big Navi worth?
Unlike the latest high-end graphics card from AMD (Radeon VII), this new Navi should be a huge bet from the microprocessor maker. In fact, if you happen to have been aware of the world of leaks, you know that the card has already been mentioned in several places, with several experts expecting a performance above what the market queen RTX 2080 Ti is capable of offering.
Which is not really that surprising, since AMD is already super experienced with TSMC's 7nm production process. This while NVIDIA is still playing with TSMC's 12NFF process, a somewhat more efficient 16nm process.
However, it is also very likely that NVIDIA will not be quiet to watch the ship go by, immediately betting on its new Ampere architecture. (Computex launch? If Coronovirus allows?)
