Four prisoners escaped from Gallia County Jail in Ohio earlier Sunday. Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin confirmed in a statement that the four detainees overpowered two female police with a homemade gun and escaped at 12:14 pm on Sunday.
According CBS Columbus Affiliated WBNS-TV, the sheriff's office determined that inmates had assistance in the escape of at least one person outside. The sheriff's office identified the four escaped prisoners as:
Brynn K. Martin, 40, 5 "7" tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes; Christopher M. Clemente, 24, 6 & 1 "tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes; Troy R. McDaniel Jr., 30, measures 5 ″ 11 "tall and weighs approximately 157 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes; Lawrence R. Lee III, 29, measures 5 ″ 9" tall and weighs approximately 187 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Sheriff's office details disclosed what charges each detainee was detained before his escape: Martin faced several crimes, including charges related to the breaking, entry and receipt of stolen property; Clement was indicted on charges related to drug trafficking; McDaniel did not appear before a court for "non-support for dependents"; and Lee was charged with two felonies and a crime related to fraud, obstruction and identity assault.
All prisoners are considered extremely dangerous.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Gallia County Sheriff's Office hotline at 740-446-655. The US Marshal Service is offering a reward of up to $ 2,500 per fugitive for information leading to a prison.
