On March 8, we have the arrival of the new Mario Kart Tour in multiplayer mode and in real time for users of the iOS operating system. Nintendo today announced that the multiplayer version of its most famous game Mario Kart will arrive on iOS on March 8, 2020.

This new version comes following a beta testing program that has been running since December 2019. And now finally, the multiplayer version of the Mario Kart Tour multiplayer will be available to be played by your fans. Its launch will take place at 8 pm on 8 March.

According to Nintendo there will be three different ways to play:

  • With friends or other players around you: here you can make your own rules and race against friends or other users who are nearby. The rules here are not changeable;
  • Standard racing: in this mode you can race against any other player in the world and with rules that change daily. Two rule sets are modified daily;
  • Gold racing: here you will only have access if you are a subscriber to the MKT Gold Pass, which allows you to compete with the best of the best. Four sets of rules are modified daily in this mode.

During the beta testing program last December, the multiplayer Mario Kart Tour game was only available to anyone who subscribed to the MKT Gold Pass. But this time, it will be accessible to everyone who wants to play both in games with their friends and in games that are happening close to you as well as in standard races. Only Gold mode is available to MKT Gold subscribers with a monthly subscription of $ 4.99.

Anyway and if you want to start practicing before the arrival of the multi-player Mario Kart Tour in real time, you can download the “normal” Mario Kart Tour now from the App Store on here.
