Mythic, GoldFish finally has proof of its existence in Fortnite

by ace

Since the release of Fortnite Chapter 2, players have known that a Mythic Goldfish item existed somewhere in the game. You just needed a lot of luck while fishing to roll it up.

The Mythic Goldfish – in fact, a brilliant goldfish trophy – is designed to be thrown at enemies and, if correctly hit, eliminate them in a single blow. Supposedly, it will deal 200 clean damage – enough to hit a player with full health and shields.

People had seen the item listed in the game files, along with an achievement for being killed by it. But no one has posted evidence of finding one to date. Fans began to confidently declare that the item was simply not yet available.

But it seems that this is not the case, and this mythical item really exists. After all, we now have a picture proof of what he can do…

Goldfish

But in a video recorded and released by user FortniteBR BlakeBenbow provides the community with the first video proof of a Mythic Goldfish – after they were killed by one.

The unfortunate BlakeBenbow seems to be busy dancing, unaware that an opponent with a Mythic Goldfish is near. It would be useless to provide the details in full, after all, a picture is worth 1000 words. So it will be much better to go to the link below and see for yourself. I was eliminated by a mythical goldfish! I thought I wasn't in the game yet! from FortNiteBR.

But anyway, with this now confirmed, Mythic Goldfish exists, and the conquest in the game of being killed by one is now active. Of course, nobody wants to have an opponent equipped with one of those…

Judging by the time it took for someone to post the first test on video, the trophy seems to have an incredibly rare drop rate. Which is good, because the last time Epic Games introduced a unique mythic item into Fortnite, things didn't go so well.
